Success (the opposite of failure) is the status of having achieved and accomplished an aim or objective. Being successful means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals. Furthermore, success can be a certain social status that describes a prosperous person that could also have gained fame for its favorable outcome. The dictionary describes success as the following: “attaining wealth, prosperity and/or fame”. |
Every person subconsciously and consciously applies their own system of underlying sensibilities, values and hopes to the idea of success... so it is important to note that there is no one definition for success in life and in these courses I will explain my own journey from many failures and injuries to one small achievement to the next along the journey which describes the story of my journey...
Success for me is largely a matter of finding a sense of completeness and is conceived in the individual, strengthened through practice and discipline and seeking... it is expressed through our deeds and multiplied and reflected into and through the fractals of life; our family, community, tribe and humanity. However there are specific aspects that are common for all those who walk the path of life seeking true comleteness. These common aspects which include patterns of achievement, goal setting and successful living in life I will cover in greater detail in this course these are known as the five constants written by the great Chinese philosopher and general Sun Tzu. "Those who do not know or practice the five constants are more likely to fail in their endeavors." based on the writings of Sun Tzu. |
One of the most important steps to achieve completeness and wholeness is to continually find success in life... The real meaning of finding the many successes in life goes far beyond the common material definitions of riches, power and influence all though these things can be part of our journey. Many times a person can be successful but feel that they have failed because there are certain psychological and spiritual goals that they were unable to achieve... or due to underlying traumatic experiences they are unable to feel happy, complete or manage everyday life. A true meaningful life of happiness is found in the many successes we find in our life journey must include moral laws, the calculations of heaven and earth and the completeness of the commander... the army of the self and its cultivation and discipline. Therefore you will fail if you do not ensure that you adhere to the constants of morality, understand the seasons and cycles of life, know your person, use method and discipline. Success must include the five constants of which Moral Law is the key... Moral Law in my view is to a large degree is the practice of opening your person to meaning and value. The most meaningful and important value common to all of human experience is that of Love and in this course I cover in detail these important factors. Wikipedia; 'Love encompasses a range of strong and positive emotional and mental states, from the most sublime virtue or good habit, the deepest interpersonal affection and to the simplest pleasure.' When seeking Success; achievement without proper attention to Love is not completeness... |
The opposite of success; failure is as it infers to fail while trying to achieve aims or objectives. Besides this regular definition of failure it also can be said that even wealthy and successful persons fail in their lives. Wealthy, powerful and famous people through scandals, drug or alcohol addictions and more sadly due to first world diseases such as suicide rob the wealthiest and most powerful people of their success.
Many extraordinary athletes, musicians and artist can also be unhappy with their lives and are not able to achieve meaningful success. Great wealth, power and fame cannot be defined as success on their own. So without paying proper attention to the values in ones life that make you a happy and more complete person, such as inner peace and satisfaction, having deep and meaningful relationships with family, friends and community you will without question fail to achieve the success you seek. From the writings of Sun Tzu we know that those who have been successful in the battles of living, life and achieving the goals they seek throughout history first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then wait for an opportunity of winning the goal they seek... as part of this unique course we establish the fundamental constants that all successful people must manage in seeking their own specific achievements. |
Accomplishment is often associated with success, but it is not the same. Accomplishment refers to the results we desire when we attempt to reach specific goals. Basically it is the results that we plan or expect to occur. Success in this definition is the weaving together of many goals and accomplishments, with the five constants which we teach in this course. Achievements together with the five constants of morality, understanding seasons and cycles, knowing your person, using method and discipline we create a pathway of success. |
